     Paradigm shift: COVID-19 and Business Continuity with technology support



     The unprecedented COVID-19 related lockdown has thrown a new challenge for U.P.
     RERA in ensuring day-to-day proceedings of the Authority and maintaining connect with
     the stakeholders.  Business continuity planning has been of the prime importance to the
     Authority during the initial days of the lockdown. Keeping in view the emerging
     challenges and the need for maintaining productivity of the Authority, U.P. RERA decided
     to take the virtual route to conduct its day-to-day operations and interactions with the
     stakeholders. U.P. RERA conducted the following initiatives through the virtual route to
     maintain continuity in the last six months –

     1.     Meetings with the promoters’ association (CREDAI / NAREDCO)
     2.     Internal meetings of the Authority
     3.     RERA Samvaad, an online public grievance redressal platform
     4.     Meetings with homebuyers’ associations
     5.     Virtual e-Court hearings
     6.     Virtual conciliation forum
     7.     Meetings with promoters on projects registrations, extensions and compliance
     8.     Consultative meeting with different stakeholders
     9.     Conducting tender meetings and presentations
     10.    Media interactions and interviews of Hon’ble Chairman and Members of the
            Authority
