It has been the endeavor of U.P. RERA to sensitize the promoters, the competent
authorities and officials of the concerned departments of the Government to create
conditions conducive to extending maximum benefits to homebuyers. With the
well-thought-of and orchestrated outreach efforts (enumerated below) in a phased
Advocacy & Outreach by the Authority manner, U.P. RERA has been successful in creating desired level of awareness and have a
constructive engagement with all stakeholders.

With Dipanshu Roy The Authority understands that the traditional media i.e. the print and the electronic
media are the first source of authentic information and awareness to the vast majority of
the population. From the very beginning, the chairman, the members, and the secretary
of the Authority have continuously
interacted with the print and the
electronic media with a view to
disseminating the important
initiatives, important judgements,
important policy decisions, future plans
and other important activities being
undertaken by the Authority for the
benefit of the consumers and other
stakeholders. Timely press releases
were also circulated among the
media fraternity so that required
messages and information from the
Authority were communicated to the stakeholders.
Creation of Media Section on the Website of the Authority
The portal of the Authority is the most important source of genuine information and,
therefore, the media section has a very important role to play. The main purpose of this
section is to compile and store all relevant information under one platform for easy access
and awareness of the general population looking for the credible information of the real
estate projects and all other important updates about the real estate sector.This media
section consists of the following five heads:
a) Photo Gallery: It consists of the images regarding events, meetings, workshops, etc of
the Authority.
b) Video Gallery: It consists of videos of workshops, interviews, and news stories.
c) Interviews: It consists of all the interviews with the print media which help to spread
awareness about the initiatives taken by the Authority.
d) Press Releases: It lists all the press releases of the Authority for future references.
e) In News: It consists of all the important news items that have been captured under this
section for better engagement and awareness.
