                              Townhall with Promoters on 28 February 2020

      Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, from the month of June onwards, the
      Authority started conducting region specific virtual workshops in collaboration with
      different development authorities in order to create awareness, outreach and ease of
      doing business among promoters and other stakeholders, such as  engineers,
      architects, town planners and chartered accountants.

      Virtual workshops with the Gorakhpur and Agra development were attended by large
      number of the stakeholders. Apart from the workshops with  the  development
      authorities, the Authority has conducted training programmes and workshops for the
      benefit promoters of  different regions and for  the  internal  capacity building  of  the
      officials U.P. RERA.


      The objective of such virtual workshops with the promoters was to highlight the duties
      and obligations of the promoters, the project registration and extension process, the
      benefits of project registration, the quarterly compliances for the registered projects,
      separate project accounts, and many more critical parameters of U.P. RERA.
