Recent IT initiatives by U.P. RERA
Revamping of the U.P. RERA web portal
With a view to improve accessibility, security and visual appeal of the U.P. RERA web portal,
the Authority has revamped its entire web portal as per the felt needs of regulation and
service to the stakeholders and benchmarking with the portals of other state RERAs. The
efforts have been much appreciated by the stakeholder groups.
System’s intervention for time bound conciliation
In order to make the conciliation more effective, the Authority, starting January 2020,
streamlined the process of conciliation by introducing time bound deadlines at each step.
In addition, the process for transferring cases from a RERA Bench to the conciliation
forum has also been streamlined and digitized.
The above system interventions have facilitated faster resolution of conciliation cases, thus
deepening the trust of the stakeholders on the efficacy of the conciliation forum.
